eMvoy does not collect any information from its searchers other than the standard information contained in the log files (mentioned below). eMvoy optionally collects personal and descriptive information from the creators of the web sites in our directory. eMvoy also collects business, descriptive and credit card information from our advertisers.

eMvoy will never display any credit card or personal information to our searchers. This includes credit card numbers, e-mail addresses, logins and passwords and billing zip codes.

eMvoy does display common descriptive business information provided by web site creators or advertisers, such as related keywords and categories, company types, city and state locations, industrial certification information and year of establishment.

eMvoy does not use any cookies on our web site. (A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive containing information about the user.)

eMvoy takes every precaution to protect information by provided by those making site updates or our advertisers. Private information is protected both online and offline. While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect user information offline. User information is stored on a secure server that is owned, operated and maintained by eMvoy. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information.

All our employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Every quarter, as well as any time new policies are added, our employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance we place on privacy, and what they can do to ensure our users' and advertisers' information is protected.
